Children working together to make a contribution for the betterment of homeless animals.

Girls from the Albert Leonard Middle School in New Rochelle joined a club called “Hearts Knit Together.” This club is under the direction of two facility advisors, Jennifer Guell, the Home and Consumer Sciences teacher and Karen Gongora, the school Phycologist. The girls and their teachers visited the New Rochelle Humane Society where they presented us with with fifteen hand-made pillows for the shelter animals. One of the girls’ father very generously donated a check, $10 for each pillow. We are so appreciative when children work together to make a contribution for the betterment of homeless animals. A big THANK YOU to all of them!
